7. Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon
8. "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini
I highly recommend The Book Thief and I also want to read Outlander and All The Light We Can Not See.

Ahhh!! The Kite Runner is such an AMAZING book! I would hate to live in Kabul personally...but that story is told so beautifully! :)
