Hello lovely bookworms! It's Friday and as promised in my Blogging Schedule I'm coming here with a tag!

Greed - What is your most inexpensive book? What is your most expensive book?

My most expensive book has to be "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" - the illustrated edition. I just could not resist it - it's so beautiful!!!

As for my most inexpensive book - I really can't say which one it is...

Wrath - What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Cassandra Clare. I kept on reading the books in The Mortal Instruments series, hoping that every book will be better than the previous. I am going to read The Infernal Devices series in a distant future, but my expectations are definitely not high.

Gluttony - What book have you devoured over and over again with no shame?

"Last Chance Saloon" by Marian Keyes is definitely my guilty pleasure. I have such fun time reading it. My Goodreads says I've read it 7 times already, but I really want to reread it again in the near future.

Sloth - What book have you neglected reading due to laziness?

"The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adam. I really think I will like this book, but it's humongous, so I'm a little bit scared to start it...May be this year...May be not...

Pride - What book do you talk about most in order to sound like an intellectual reader?

I don't tend to talk about books for the sake of sounding really smart and well-read. I just talk about books, when I have something to say about them. It doesn't matter if I hate or love a certain book, sometimes I just need to pour out my feelings and thoughts about it.

Lust - What attributes do you find attractive in male characters?

I like my male characters to be a little bit broken. I don't like perfect people in books, because they don't exist in real life. I would also love my male characters to be loyal and protective (but not in the obsessive way).

Envy - What book would you most like to receive as a gift?

All of them!!! I love receiving books. Even if it's something I would not normally pick up myself, I appreciate every unread book that is given to me. If you want something specific, you can check out my TTT: Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree This Year.

The partridge stood alone in the pear tree. What is you favorite stand alone?

I have too many favorites in this department, but since I love emotional reads so much, I decided to pick "Please Look After Mom" by Kyung-sook Shin for this one.

This is a really, really emotional read, which I suggest you read without even looking at the synopsis. I was crying like a person, suffering from severe depression throughout the whole book!

Lara & Peter are just so perfect together. For the love of God, please, don't tell me what happens in the next book, because if they don't end up together I will very much appreciate it to be devastated while reading the book and not beforehand...

Bellatrix is my favorite villain of all time! I adore her - she is evil, she is crazy...and the actress is damn brilliant!

Creation is a beautiful thing. What is your favourite world/world-building?

Yeah, there is no way I'm choosing anything different for this question. I mean, this is "Harry Potter"!!!

I bet that there is no person who's read the book or at least watched the movies, and remained indifferent to it.

I want to go to Hogwarts, you want to go to Hogwarts, we all want to go there!

And I will admit, I was very depressed after watching the movie, because I didn't get a letter...My owl must have gotten lost or something...

Who needs seven swans when all it takes is one good animal sidekick? Who’s your favourite animal sidekick?

My favorite sidekick animal is Manchee and he is this loving dog in the "Chaos Walking" series by Patrick Ness. I would very much appreciate it if I ever have an animal friend like him....

On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me: Eight maids a milking.

Milk is so 18th century. Which book or series takes beverages/food to a whole new level?

I haven't read a lot of books about food, but "Sushi For Beginners" by Marian Keyes is a really good book. It's a chick-lit and has nothing to do with sushi, except the fact the some of the main characters love eating it...

I do have a book about cupcakes, which I love...but I haven't read it all and it's just a book with recipes...

Dancing is just one skill of a Lady! Who is your favourite kickass female lead?

I don't read a lot of books with female leads, because I prefer my leads to be male - preferable physically strong and mentally a little bit broken. 

But Juliette from "Wool" by Hugh Howey is pretty amazing. She is smart, she has guts, she knows how to survive, she is compassionate...what's not to love...

This book is a really good Dystopian novel, so if you have a chance, definitely give it a try.

How about your favourite leading lad?

I love Cale, he is BAE!!!

He is just my type of male lead. Not too perfect, but perfect enough for me. He has some development throughout the books, which is a huge plus.

What is your favourite book or bookish thing with musical influence? (It can be about music, reference music a lot etc.)

I don't really have one...but since Sebastian is one of my favorite characters from any manga or anime, I will just say:

Drum roll please…what is your favourite read of this year?

"The Daylight War" by Peter V. Brett. I won't even say sorry for choosing this one for the nth time this year as my favorite. Because it is. I read it at the beginning of the year and nothing came close to it.

Dashing Through The Snow Book Tag (Blogmas Day 19)

I'm here with yet another book tag, because they are always so much fun to do. Dashing Through The Snow Book Tag was created by Astra at A Stranger's Guide to Novels and I found out about this tag from Cristina at My Tiny Obsessions, who was so kind to tag everybody.

1. Name a book you woukd like to see under the Christmas tree

All of them! Now seriously, I actually already know what books are going to be there and they are the first three books in "The Legend of Eli Monpress" series by Rachel Aaron. I found out about this series on our Christmas book fair and I really liked the premise, so when my sister asked me what I want for Christmas I decided to go with these books.

2. Name a book you'll be reading during the Christmas season

I have a December TBR and as always I won't be able to read all of the books I've planned to. I'm currently reading "Blood Eagle" by Craig Russell and when I finish it I might read "Bundori" by Laura Joh Rowland. We'll see.

3. Name your favorite Christmas movie

I've just posted about my favorite Christmas movies, but if you haven't checked that out yet, my favorite Christmas movie is definitely "Love Actually".

4. Do you like snow?

I love snow, but I hate it when it melts.

5. Name a character you would like to spend your Christmas day with

I would love to spend a whole Christmas vacation with the Weasleys. Enough said!

6. To give or receive

I love giving presents, the problem is that I'm having a hard time choosing them. Last year I surprised my boyfriend's roommates. They were gone for the holidays and when they returned they found their presents on their beds. They didn't expect this at all and seeing their surprised happy faces made me feel really good :)

7. What fictional place would you like to spend Christmas at?

Hogwarts, hands down! I mean, who wouldn't love being there for Christmas?!

8. Fondest Christmas memory?

Does the one above count? Because it is my most recent one and definitely made me feel very happy.

9. Can you say Christmas tree ten times fast in a row (pronouncing it correctly)?

After the fifth time my tongue twisted and I gave up :D

Reader Problems Tag (Blogmas Day 12)

Since I have nothing interesting to share today, I decided that a tag would be perfect. The Reader Problems Tag was created by Tiffany from About To Read YouTube channel. I was not tagged but it seems like a really fun tag to do. I have also never seen bloggers do this tag but I think it will still be a lot of fun.

1. You have 20 000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?

It's really difficult, but I go with the flow. I just pick a random book or if I have something to return to the library, I start with that.

2. You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?

I hate not finishing books and as masochistic as it is I try to finish what I'm reading even if it's boring as fuck.

3. The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?

It depends on how many books I have left. If they are not so many, I pick up my unfinished manga series. If they are too many, I don't bother completing the challenge.

4. The covers of a series you love do not match. How do you cope?

I actually don't have a problem if the covers don't match. But if the heights are different, we have a problem. I don't like if my bookshelf is looking like a freaking bar diagram.

5. Everyone and their mother love a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?

Everyone is free to like or dislike a certain book, so if there is no one with the same opinion as me, I bond with myself :D

6. You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?

I hate crying in public, but if there is no helping it I just try to not do it loudly...

7. A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?!?!?!?

I don't see a problem here. If I loved the book, why not reread it? It would be the best thing ever!

8. You do not want anyone borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?

I don't...I just can't say no to people for something like that. Huge mistake! I just have to find out how to say no to people...

9. Reading ADD. You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?

First of all, I will stop reading anything! After that it's time for some RPG games or anime or movies or music...the choices are endless. I just have to stay away from books for a couple of days.

10. There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?

I buy only the ones I have money for. Depending on the month the number can be zero or 10 books.

11. After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?

It depends on the books. If it's something by Patrick Ness or  Peter V. Brett or anything I've been waiting for ages to come out, I will read it as soon as I finish my current read. If it's a first book in a series, I prefer waiting for some of the other books to come out first, because my memory is not that great when it comes to remembering plot lines.

The Book Courtship Tag (Blogmas Day 5)

I haven't done a tag since forever and this one popped up in my mail yesterday. Cristina from My Tiny Obsessions was so nice to tag everyone, which gives me the opportunity to answer all of the awesome questions in this tag.

Phase 1 - Initial Attraction: A book that you bought because of the cover?

"The Left Hand of God" by Paul Hoffman

Well, technically I didn't buy this book only because of the cover, but it's the reason why I read the synopsis...and after that I watched the trailer...which lead to me buying it.

I must say that although a lot of people don't seem to like it, I adore it and have already read it twice. Since the third book came out yesterday (at least in my country it did), I'm planning on giving it another reread.

Phase 2 - First Impressions: A book that you got because of the summary?

"Warm Bodies" by Isaac Marion

This was the first zombie book that I've read. I was so intrigued by the synopsis and I've never heard anyone talking about it. I ended up loving it and now, when the second book is about to come out next year, I'm really excited.

Phase 3 - Sweet Talk: A book with great writing?

"Poison" by Chris Wooding

I was really drawn by the writing style in this book. I don't know if it's something spectacular - maybe it's not, but for some reason I loved it. It was like a very well written fairy-tale for me.

Phase 4 - First Date: A first book of a series which made you want to pick up the rest of the series?

"The Warded Man" by Peter V. Brett

Hands down! This is my favorite high fantasy book series of all time!

Funny fact: I took the first two books in the series from the library and before even finishing the first one I went out and bought all of the books that were published by far.

Phase 5 - Late Night Phone Calls: A book that kept you up all night?

"The Knife of Never Letting Go" by Patrick Ness

I can hardly stay up all night reading, but If I have to choose a book to spend the night with, it's going to be this one. It's one of the most unique books that I've read...and I bought it because of the first sentence, which might sound weird for those who know what the first sentence is.

This book series is really popular now, but I bought it not knowing anything about it. Some people like it, others hate it...I just adore it.

Phase 6 - Always On My Mind: A book you could not stop thinking about?

"Harry Potter" series by J.K. Rowling

I'm sorry, but it's true! It's almost Christmas and me and my sister are currently rewatching the movies...and the illustrated edition came out this year...I mean, how can I think about anything else...

Phase 7 - Getting Physical: A book which you love the way it feels?

"Deep Water Thin Ice" by Kathy Shuker

I'm not into feeling my books, but when I received this one I couldn't stop touching it. It has like a velvety feel to it...i really can't even describe it, but I like it.

Phase 8 - Meeting The Parents: A book which you would recommend to your family and friends?

"Медальонът" by Галина Златарева

I'm really sorry I can't recommend this to any foreigners because the book has not been translated to any other language. Only Bulgarian edition is available. But I really recommend this to everyone around me. Even people who don't usually read books love this one.

Phase 9 - Thinking About The Future: A book or series you know you will reread many times in the future?

"Last Chance Saloon" by Marian Keyes

I've read this book 7 times already and I'm planning on rereading it again soon. If you haven't read any books written by Marian Keyes, you should. They are so much fun!!!

The Bedtime Book Tag

I decided to steal yet another tag from Little Dutch Bookshop blog! It looks like a lot of fun so let's get started.

1. A book that kept you up all night reading

The only book that comes to my mind right now is "The Warded Man" by Peter V. Brett. It was such a great read that I just wanted to finnish it before going to sleep...and I did!

If you haven't read this book, I recommend you to do so because it's fantastic.

2. A book that made you too scared to go to sleep

Any H.P. Lovecraft book! They are too scary to be read before bed...Especially "The Call of Cthulhu".

If you are a horror fan, give some of his books a try because his writing style is gripping.

3. A book that made you go to sleep

I have a few of those. Let's pick a little unexpected one - "Breakfast at Tiffany's" by Truman Capote - I did not like this book at all. It took me whole 4 days to finish it...and it's only a little above 100 pages long...

4. A book series that has you tossing and turning in anticipation for its next release

Definitely "Harry Potter" series by J.K. Rowling. After struggling to wait for every other book in this series, I've decided to never start a series if all of the books have not come out yet...I'm failing...

5. A book that has your dream boyfriend

Well, I have a lot of dream boyfriends...
Decisions, decisions...
I would love it if Sebastian Michaelis could be my boyfriend...he is awesome and hot! He is from "Black Butler" manga series by Yana Toboso and Tomo Kimura.

6. A book that would be your worst nightmare to live in

Definitely "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. A world with no love and no real joy is no world for me...

7. A book that reminds you of nighttime

This is going to be "The Detainee" by Peter Liney because a lot of the most important events happen during nighttime. The book is really great and the main characters are not very typical for the dystopian genre...If you want something unique, definitely give it a try.

8. A book that had a nightmarish cliffhanger

I won't say what the cliffhanger was, but the ending of "The Knife of Never Letting Go" by Patrick Ness left me hungry for the second book.

9. A book that you actually dreamed about

I did have some dreams about "A Game of Thrones" by George R.R. Martin, especially after watching the TV series...There might have been really hot dreams about certain characters in the book...just saying...

10. A book monster that you would not want to find under your bed

Definitely Elizabeth Báthory from "Dracula the Un-Dead" by Dacre Stoker and Ian Holt. I don't want this crazy woman nowhere near me. She is scary...

The Disney Villains Tag

I saw this tag on Little Dutch Bookshop blog and I really liked the questions so I decided to do it.

I have done everything in my power not to include spoilers…so, enjoy!

Maleficent: A book or book series in which there is an overwhelming sense of evil/doom
For this one I just have to choose “A Series of Unfortunate Events” by Lemony Snicket because Count Olaf represents the nightmare for every kid. He is the Devil in disguise.

The Evil Queen: A book or book series in which the villain tricks the hero

I’m choosing “The Daylight War” by Peter V. Brett where the characters of the book have to deal with some really nasty demons which can transform into humans. If you have not read “The Demon Cycle” series, you should because it’s brilliant.

Cruella de Vil: A book or book series in which the villain brings about their own demise

As strange as this may be, I choose “Maleficent” by Elizabeth Rudnick. Stefan – aka Aurora’s dad, was neither the smartest, nor the best character in the world and his cowardice leads him to not a very happy ending.

Ursula: A book or book series that left you speechless

That will be “The Giver” by Lois Lowry. I just can’t even imagine living in that messed up world where there is no love, no colors, no sexual desire, no real pleasure…there is just no real joy in life.

Jafar: A book or book series in which the villain almost wins

For this one I’m choosing the “Shadowdance” series by David Dalglish because my favorite characters were almost killed at least a dozen of times…by the villains, cause he's not just one.

Hades: A book or book series you can’t help but love the villain

Again, this might be a really strange choice, but I choose “07-Ghost” by Yuki Amemiya and Yukino Ichihara. I just love Ayanami’s character – he is pure evil.

Scar: A book or book series with familial betrayal

This spot is saved for “The 10th Kingdom” by Kathryn Wesley and I can’t say while because I will spoil the whole book. But it’s like the betrayal of betrayals, believe me.

Hans: A book or book series with a villain you didn’t see coming

I just couldn’t think of anyone that fits into this category more perfectly then Sebastian Morgenstern from “The Mortal Instruments” series by Cassandra Clare. I know he is probably everyone’s choice but…oh, well…

The Ultimate Harry Potter Tag

As a follow up to my Book Traveling Thursdays yesterday I decided that today will be the perfect day for doing The Ultimate Harry Potter Tag. This tag was created by Isi from Just Keep Reading YouTube channel. I was not tagged, but I really wanted to do this tag for such a long time, so now I’m finally doing it. I have also never seen bloggers do this tag, but I think it will still be a lot of fun.

Well, my all-time favorite movie is “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” because of Ron. Rupert Grint did an amazing job in this movie. He was just so hilarious.

4. Least favorite movie?

My least favorite movie is “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”.

He is such a complexed character and he deserves to be loved. And Alan Rickman rocks!!!

I love Professor McGonagall. She is a tough character, but she is also kind and really cool and sarcastic.

Well, Snape is one of my favorite characters so I’ll wash his hair…is there a spell for that???

12. Would you rather duel an elated Bellatrix or an angry Molly?

Bellatrix is crazy but Molly kills her…but before that Bellatrix kills a bunch of other people…and I'm pretty sure that Molly will like me cause I'm a good girl so she will never kill me...so I choose her…

13. Would you rather travel to Hogwarts via Hogwarts Express or flying car?

Is there a person who even thought about choosing the flying car?! I honestly doubt that and I make no exception – I will choose the Hogwarts Express and fly with the car some other time.

14. Would you rather kiss Voldemort or give Umbridge a bubble bath?

I will fall off both of them, but I prefer to ride a hippogriff.

No. The books are way better.

I think both of them are great, but I liked Richard Harris more.

I don’t remember seeing Peeves in the movies, so I’ll go with him.

I was not very happy with “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” movie so I wish it could be remade by someone…

21. Which house was your first gut feeling you'd be a part of?

Well, I would like to be part of Slytherin, because their common room is in the dungeons and Snape is head of the house, not because I’m a bad person or anything like that.

22. Which house were you actually sorted into on Pottermore (or another online sorting quiz)?

I am a Hufflepuff.

23. Which class would be your favorite?

I have two favorites - Potions and Transfiguration.

24. Which spell do you think would be most useful to learn?

Reparo because I’m such a klutz.

I want to be friends with Fred and George, but I have the feeling that I'll become an instant friend with Luna.

Well, the cloak of invisibility is the most useful one.

I don’t want Fred to be dead, so I will change this aspect of the last book.

I love Lupin and he seems to be the smartest and the most responsible and reasonable one in the group.

I’m really repeating myself here, but I will bring Fred back to life.

Disney Princess Book Tag

I've always loved watching book tags on youtube but reading them is also kind of fun so I decided to do one.

I stumbled upon "Disney Princess Book Tag" on paperfury and I really liked it so although I wasn't tagged by anyone I decided to do it anyway :)

So, without any further ado let's jump into the tag...

SNOW WHITE: NAME YOUR FAVOURITE CLASSIC

I have not read a lot of classics, but one of my favorites is "A Little Princess" by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I've read it for the first time when I was still in high school and I really loved it. I have plans on rereading it hopefully soon.

CINDERELLA: NAME A BOOK THAT KEPT YOU READING PAST YOUR BEDTIME

The most recent one I can think of is "The Warded Man" by Peter V. Brett. It is full of action and really fast paced so if you have not read it give it a chance.

AURORA: NAME YOUR FAVOURITE CLASSIC ROMANCE

I have to choose "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen for this one. Not only is the book my favorite  but the movies are also great and I've watched them million times.

ARIEL: NAME A BOOK THAT’S ABOUT SACRIFICES AND FIGHTING FOR YOUR DREAMS

This might seem a strange choice to some of you, but I feel that this book just screams sacrifices. It is a really emotional book with unexpected ending.

BELLE: NAME A BOOK WITH A SMART, INDEPENDENT FEMALE CHARACTER

For this one I'm going for Lyra Belacqua from "His Dark Materials" by Philip Pullman. I thought Lyra was amazing and really smart for her years.

JASMINE: NAME A BOOK WHOSE CHARACTER CHALLENGES THE SOCIAL CONVENTIONS OF THEIR WORLD

This might be another not so very popular character - Elizabeth Woodville from "The White Queen" by Philippa Gregory. I chose her because she was not supposed to mary the king, but she did and a lot of people hated her for that and later on in the novels she was proclaimed a witch along with her mother. If you have not read this series - do it because they are awesome...and if you do, don't do it by publication order but by the the chronological order given in Goodreads.

POCAHONTAS: NAME A BOOK WHOSE ENDING WAS A ROLLER COASTER OF EMOTIONS

The biggest WTF ending in the universe goes to "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green and if you've read the book, you know exactly what I mean.

MULAN: NAME A BOOK FEATURING WAR OR BATTLES

The battles in "A Dance of Cloaks" by David Dalglish are between the thief gangs and the rich people...but not only...and the main character rocks...

TIANA: NAME A BOOK FEATURING A HARDWORKING, SELF-MADE CHARACTER

I know I've already chosen a book from the same series but I don't care. For this one I have to choose Inevera from "The Daylight War" by Peter V. Brett. She is not a very nice person but I can't help it...she just fits into this category perfectly.

RAPUNZEL: NAME A BOOK FEATURING AN ARTIST

I've just finished "Daughter of Smoke & Bone" by Laini Taylor and it's amazing. Karou is definitely an artist so this was just perfect.

MERIDA: NAME A BOOK WITH A MOTHER-DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP

I know Maleficent is not the mother of Aurora, but they had such a lovely mother-daughter relationship that I just couldn't resist picking "Maleficent" by Elizabeth Rudnick for this category.

ANNA AND ELSA: NAME A BOOK THAT FEATURES A GREAT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SIBLINGS

Last but not least for a book with great siblings' relationship I choose "Harry Potter" series by J. K. Rowling...because the Weasley siblings are my favorite of all time and I don't know a person who doesn't want to be a part of this loving family.
